Quite [Mar. 2nd, 2007|05:52 pm]
I have very strange thurdays and fridays at the moment their are large ammount of notting - I mean no noice dead quite, no child asking for anything saying they are bord - I no that this will only last for a few months before Hannah start wanting mummy and is having less sleeps. So I am going to enjoy it while I can.

On another note I have become one of these involved mums at the school - I have gone on Canteen roaster for two days a term, am doing Preschool rostrer twice a term and am thurday afternoons for an hour before school finishes I am helping with fine motor skills in Emmas class room. Hey I even went to the swimming carnival (water play day) to day which was great fun.

Ballet [Feb. 12th, 2007|10:57 am]
My daughter started ballet this saturday and loved it - in fact she is now doing classical and jazz she did a trial lesson in them both and loved them - she will have to specialise once she goes up in levels but at the moment she can do both and then decided which one she loves the best. The lessons are stright after each other so from 9.00 - 10.30 she is going to get very fit quickly I did'nt realise how much energy is needed for dance - it just like going out and playing a game of soccor. My son is still doing dimond ball so now my husband and I have take it in turn to take one to one activity and the other to the other but we are going to take it in turns He will take my daughter to dance while I take my son to dimond ball or soccor.

Well I have survived sending by eldest child to school - she just loved it and can't wait to go each morning - heares hoping that this happens for the next 13+ years. She looked so smart in her school uniform and thanks to a friend at church they even were the right size. She has a lovely teacher and her specila friend from preschool is also in her class. My Son starts preschool on thursday finally - this will mean no more when is it my turn to start - I am looking forward to spending time with my youngerst- planing to go swimming with her.

The end of an era [Feb. 2nd, 2007|06:22 pm]
Today saw the end of an era the last day that I would have my little girl home with me - exept weekends and school holidays. On monday I am sending her out into the big wide world of school. Part of me is sad because there will no longer be thoughs special times during the week together, , no more taking her to playgroup, the other part that I am so proud of her is that she can't wait she is so eager to learn and take everything in, she is so excited and reallys want to put that uniform on she is always looking at and wanting to wear it

Preschool [Feb. 1st, 2007|07:26 am]
We visted the preschool yeasterday Nathaniel was not very cean to go he was rather relactant but I managed to get him there (he had been going all of last year while I took Emma but this was differint it was his turn) - We won't sure if he was going to have the same teacher due to all the school closures that could have happend - his main concern will you should have seen the look of his face when debbie greated him (Emma teacher from last year), one large smile and he run off the play with the activites. Heres hoping that when he starts in two weeks (15th Feb)(We have an individual interview next week) that he is just as happy to go.

As a mum I am sad to see him start his school love but just as pleased because he really need to take this indpendance away from me and samewhere that his just his place notting to to with his sister Emma who he depends on so much, and it also means that for two days a week I only have Hannah which gives us some wonderful one on one time together to do some specail things eg swimming lessons

Immunistation [Jan. 30th, 2007|03:26 pm]
[mood | tired]

I know no entries for a while then 2 in one day.

I am sitting here cuddlng poor Hannah as she thinks what an horrible mummy I am for getting my legs proded with a needle today and some horrible stuff down my throat ( one day she will be gratfull, this short amount of pain will make for alot less in the future) on the other hand Nathaniel is not at all concerned about the needles he got in acutal fact when the nurse told him that he could get down off mummys lap to get a sticker he said have I already had them mummy cnot a tear in site not even the word ow - Mum was alot more conerned that he was. the nurse was even impressed said that she would like to have more 4 year olds like him -I was so proud of my brave little (big) boy.

Easter and school holidays [Apr. 18th, 2006|09:06 am]
Wow what a busy weekend - We went to church on friday and sunday morning, Gamed on thursday and saturday night, took the kids to the zoo on saturday, had afternoon tea and dinner with friends on sunday and spent yesterday cleaning the house. Among all this I managed to have regular sleep which was great. I'm finding during the week it is difficult to catch some rest with two other kids running around even though my body needs it - end up going to bed early.

Well it is school holidays which means all of my regular activites come to a halt and many people are away which makes for a dull time - thank goodness for annual passes to the zoo, questicon and cookten Green - but that also means faceing crowds which I'm not sure if I am up. Well to keep my sanity I will have to face them otherwise I will have two kids climbing the wall. Have also got the kids in to dancing kids at the csiro one morning this week and one morning next week which will give us some to do.

[mood | happy]
[music |Newsboys]

Well alot has happend since I last wrote in Jan. So here is an update

* I have managed to toilet train Natty both day and night have had no accidents for a month - life is now so much easier. He is also becoming alot more independant which is great (reason see dot point lower down)

*Tom and I celebrated our 9th wedding aniversity.

*Tom got his job permently

And the biggest news

We are expecting our third bub due date 15th Oct - but will be born early Oct as I have decided to have a elective cesser. We are really happy and the kids are very excited. I am almost 14 weeks and have finally stop the morning sickness but still have very tired but make sure I rest as much as possible

I have been feeling really tired lately and light headed not sure what is wrong have no energy to do anything but still manage to get stuff done - although slowly.

Spent so time with just emma on the weekend while we went to the farmers markets - which was great - I think it is important to spend one on one time with your kids as much as possible - I try to take one one time and the other one the next - it was meant to be natty on saturday but he did'nt want to go.

We are now counting down to preschool next monday is interview day and then we start on tuesday for two hours then the following weekend we go on monday and tuesday from 9.15 - 3.15 till the end of the year.

A really enjoyable Australia Day [Jan. 27th, 2006|05:32 pm]
[mood | tired]

Yesterday was great fun - we sent the day on a train ride to bungadoore and back for Nattys Birthday. He had great fun and it was wonderful spending the day with my parents as well - we spent two hours walking around bungadoore and had a picnic at the park. When I asked nattie if he enjoyed it and what was the best thing about it his reply pressing Buz Lightyears lazer while in the dark tunnels (he got buz from us for his birthday and he takes it everywhere - had to put a stop to taking it in the shower - he belives that if we leaves buz anywhere that he will get up and start playing by himself)

Today I managed to fold thoughs clothes that I haven't done for a while and went grocery shoping - thanks to Aldi I manage to get my shoping done for 50% less than it would cost at Woolworths. Planning to get up and go to the farmers markets tommorow for all our fruit and veg - really nice stuff and a fraction of the price as it come stright from the grower.

[mood |creative]

Will managed to surview the heat yesterday - gave my son his birthday present (only one of them) before his dad got home - a wadding pool - filled it up with cold water from the tap and the three of us sat in it for over an hour till he got home and cooked dinner on the BBQ.

Went to junior jivers this morning. It was great catching up with all the mums again and meeting all the new born babys - they are so cute - couldent resist cuddeling them. Spent this afternoon doing thin around the house and even managed to complete another two pages in my creative memories album.

Dinner is even ready - just need to find the energy to fold the clothes - something I hate doing but if I don't I end up with a pile of clothes that takes 2 hours to fold

My sons cute but frustrating habit [Jan. 24th, 2006|02:45 pm]
[mood | amused]
[music |colin buchanan - god is great]

My son as a rather cute but frustraing habit of late - I ask him to clean his room and he goes to bed and falls asleep for the next two hours - maybe this is a new way to get him to bed on time or to have an afternoon nap when he really needs it but dosen't want it.

I' melting [Jan. 23rd, 2006|02:18 pm]
I can't belive how hot it is - currently 36.6 inside the house even with fans and portable cooler on. Feeling rather sleepy - frustrated that I coulden't get to the gym today - they rang and said they were on limmited power supply so were not operating the creche today - get my vist on wednesday for free. Thought about going to the pool but it is going to be far to crowed for me to go by myself with two children - quite happy to do it if I know not many people will be there.

Hopeing that the cool change arrives quickly.

Think I might spend the the rest of the time desinging my b'day invites - and start praying that it won't rain on the day - can't image up to 56 adults and 59 children in my house.

It is far too hot [Jan. 22nd, 2006|08:29 pm]
[mood | hot]
[music |Newsboys]

it is still 32 degrees at 8.30 at night

Just spent a wonderful time with my parents for Natties birthday - mums and dads house has airconditioning - it was a relife to spend sometime there - why diden't we get the cooling this year insead of doing the backyard - thats right the kids needed somewhere to run around that was not coverd in knee high weeds and we wanted somewhere to sit and have a bbq in the hot weather - although too hot to eat outside there is no brezze.

Also got to have lots of cuddles of Chloe - discovered why I am glad I diden't use cloth nappies - and even managed to get her to sleep after her bottle. I just love being an aunthy.

Can't belive he will be three [Jan. 22nd, 2006|03:25 pm]
[mood | tired]

Well I can't belive that nattie turns 3 tommorow - it dosen't seem that long ago since I went through his rather painful birth and post birth - he is really exited because instead of a party we are off on a historial train ride on Australia Day to Bunngadoor and back which should be heaps of fun.

The weekend has been busy - although have started to go to gym again - finally got the kids in to the childcare facily three mornings a week for an hour - some me time which is great. Can't wait till this tuesday my activites start agains - with junior jivers - 1/2 of music for the kids and 1 1/2 hours of time with the mums drinking coffee while the kids play.

Sam and Beth move out this week - its going to be great to get our house back - although it has been wonderful having them here for the past 8 weeks - and they are only 2 hours away in young.

Need to spend sometime this week geting Emmie ready for preschool only two weeks to go - this could make my life interesting her brother really relies of her for alot of things and I feel he may be very lost for the first few weeks when she attends for two full days but I can wait to have some one on one time with him.
